How are you handling cross-contact at restaurants?

Last updated: December 15, 2022

Fig identifies restaurant menu items that MAY work for your needs based on ingredients and allergens posted on the restaurant website. Since cross-contamination concerns can vary by restaurant location, Fig does not consider cross-contamination. ALWAYS inquire with restaurant staff before ordering or consuming anything, especially if you live with severe food allergies or have cross-contamination concerns.

Fig gets ingredient and allergen information directly from restaurant websites and displays it within the app. Since ingredient and allergen information can change at any time, it’s likely the Fig app will be wrong at times. For this reason, ALWAYS double-check with restaurant staff before ordering or eating anything. Above all, your safety is the most important thing.
