Few frozen desserts are as effortlessly refreshing as a granita, and this watermelon version is pure summer in a glass. Ripe watermelon gets blended smooth, strained, and combined with a delicate honey-mint syrup and a bright squeeze of fresh lime — nothing more, nothing less. For anyone avoiding spices, this is a genuinely easy win: every ingredient is clean, simple, and completely free of any warming or pungent additions. The mint is steeped gently into the syrup and then strained out, leaving behind a subtle herbal sweetness without any sharp or unexpected heat. The real magic happens in the freezer, where a few rounds of fork-scraping transform the liquid into those signature loose, feathery ice crystals that practically melt on your tongue. Serve it in chilled glasses with a sprig of fresh mint on top and it looks far more impressive than the effort involved.
