Bright, fruity, and completely refreshing, this drink is the kind of thing you'll want to make on repeat all summer long. A homemade raspberry syrup — built from fresh berries, agave, and water — gives it a gorgeous deep-red color and a naturally sweet-tart base that no bottled mix can match. Muddled mint adds a cool, herbal lift that makes every sip feel a little fancy without any extra effort. Because everything here is built from whole, simple ingredients, there's zero concern about hidden spice blends or flavoring agents that can sneak into store-bought lemonades and syrups. Agave keeps it fully plant-based, so it works beautifully for anyone avoiding honey or other animal-derived sweeteners. The final balance of sweet and tart is totally in your hands — a little more lemon, a little more agave — until it's exactly right for your crowd. Serve it over ice with a sprig of mint and a lemon slice, and it looks as good as it tastes.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
