Fresh strawberries muddled with lime juice, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt create a vibrant, jewel-toned base that tastes like summer in a glass. The whole thing comes together in minutes — no blender, no fancy equipment, just a muddler and a fine-mesh strainer to get that silky, pulp-free finish. A slow pour of chilled sparkling water keeps every sip beautifully fizzy, and the optional lime wheel and mint sprig make it look like something you'd pay twelve dollars for at a rooftop bar. Every single ingredient here is naturally free from mustard and mustard derivatives, so there's no label-scanning or substitution stress involved. It's the kind of drink that works just as well for a casual weeknight as it does for a dinner party, and it scales up easily if you're making a batch for a crowd.

Place the strawberries, lime juice, maple syrup, and salt in the bottom of a large measuring cup or pitcher. Muddle firmly with a cocktail muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon until the strawberries are fully broken down and deeply red, about 30 seconds.
Set a fine-mesh strainer over a bowl or large measuring cup and pour the muddled mixture through it, pressing on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the solids.
