Staying hydrated and finding festive drinks that feel special — without caffeine, alcohol, or artificial sweeteners — can be a real challenge during pregnancy. This sparkling spritzer delivers on all fronts, built around real cranberries, Medjool dates, and 100% pomegranate juice with zero shortcuts. The homemade cranberry-date concentrate is the secret weapon here: simmering the fruit together creates a naturally sweet, tart base that makes the whole drink taste like something you'd order at a fancy restaurant. A squeeze of fresh lime brightens everything up, and the chilled sparkling water gives it that satisfying fizz without any added sugar or mystery ingredients. It's gorgeous in a glass with pomegranate arils and a sprig of mint, making it perfect for holiday gatherings, baby showers, or just treating yourself on a regular Tuesday. Every ingredient is straightforward and easy to verify, so you can sip with total confidence.

Combine the cranberries, water, and pitted dates in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the dates are completely soft, about 8–10 minutes.
Remove from heat and press the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a measuring cup or bowl, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. You should have about ½ cup of cranberry-date concentrate.
