This sparkling drink is the kind of thing that makes a regular Tuesday feel like a celebration. A homemade cranberry-date concentrate forms the backbone of the flavor — simmered until the cranberries burst and the Medjool dates melt into something naturally sweet and deeply fruity, then strained into a silky, ruby-red liquid. That concentrate gets stirred together with 100% pomegranate juice and a bright hit of fresh lime before being topped off with chilled sparkling water, so every sip is tart, lightly sweet, and genuinely refreshing. Because the sweetness comes entirely from whole fruit and dates, there's no refined sugar, no artificial anything, and absolutely nothing to second-guess on the label. It's a perfect fit for anyone navigating a reset or elimination protocol who still wants something festive in their glass. Pile on the ice, tuck in a sprig of fresh mint, and scatter a few pomegranate arils on top if you want it to look as good as it tastes.

Combine the cranberries, water, and pitted dates in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the dates are completely soft, about 8–10 minutes.
Remove from heat and press the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a measuring cup or bowl, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. You should have about ½ cup of cranberry-date concentrate.
