Coconut aminos is a common stand-in for soy sauce on a candida diet. It does carry a little sugar from coconut sap, but this recipe uses only about 2 1/4 teaspoons per serving, which is likely fine.

In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and arrowroot starch until the starch is fully dissolved and no lumps remain. Set aside.
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper.
