Bright, tangy, and deeply refreshing, this drink is the kind of thing you want to sip on a warm afternoon when you need something that feels a little special. Fresh raspberries are cooked down with agave syrup into a gorgeous, jewel-toned syrup that brings a natural sweetness without any refined sugar or fermented ingredients — making it a genuinely great pick when you're navigating yeast-free living. Agave is the only sweetener here, so there's no honey, no cane sugar, and nothing hidden to second-guess. Muddled mint adds an herby, cooling note that lifts the whole drink and makes it taste like something you'd order at a nice café. The lemon juice keeps everything bright and a little tart, and you can dial the balance up or down right before serving. It comes together with just a saucepan, a strainer, and a pitcher — no special equipment needed. Garnish with a few mint sprigs and lemon slices and it looks stunning without any extra effort.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
