Few drinks are as instantly refreshing as a tall glass of homemade lemonade, and this version takes things up a notch with a vibrant, jewel-toned raspberry syrup and a hit of fresh mint. The syrup comes together in just a few minutes on the stovetop — fresh raspberries, agave, and water cooked down into something deeply fruity and gorgeous before being strained smooth. Agave does the sweetening here instead of refined sugar or honey, keeping the whole drink entirely plant-based without any compromise on flavor. Muddling the mint directly in the pitcher is a small step that makes a big difference, releasing those bright, herbal oils into every sip. The final result is tart, sweet, floral, and cooling all at once — the kind of drink that disappears fast at a backyard gathering or lazy afternoon on the porch. Every ingredient is whole and straightforward, so there's no need to scan labels or worry about hidden additives sneaking in. Garnish with lemon slices and a sprig of mint and it looks as stunning as it tastes.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
