Bright, jewel-toned, and bursting with summer flavor, this drink is the kind of thing that disappears fast at any gathering. A homemade raspberry syrup made from fresh berries and agave gives it a rich, naturally sweet base that store-bought versions simply can't match. Muddling fresh mint directly in the pitcher adds a cool, herbal lift that makes every sip feel a little fancy without any extra effort. The whole thing comes together with just lemons, water, and a handful of real ingredients — no hidden additives, no processed syrups, and nothing that would raise a flag for anyone avoiding seeds. Straining the cooked raspberries through a fine-mesh sieve keeps the texture silky smooth, so you get all that gorgeous berry flavor without any grit or crunch. It's easy to dial in the balance of sweet and tart at the end, making it just as satisfying for adults as it is for kids.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
