Bright, jewel-toned, and bursting with summer flavor, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes you want to sit on a porch and do absolutely nothing productive. A quick homemade raspberry syrup — made by simmering fresh berries with agave and water, then straining out the solids — gives the whole pitcher a gorgeous deep-red color and a concentrated fruit flavor you simply cannot get from a bottle. Muddled fresh mint adds an herbal lift that keeps every sip feeling cool and lively rather than cloying. Because the sweetness comes entirely from agave and the tartness from real squeezed lemons, there are zero mystery ingredients to worry about — no refined syrups, no processed additives, and absolutely nothing derived from seed oils hiding in the mix. It's naturally plant-based too, so it works for just about everyone at the table. You can tweak the balance at the end to suit your taste, adding a little more agave for sweetness or an extra splash of lemon if you like things sharp. Make a big pitcher for a gathering or keep it in the fridge for yourself — it disappears fast either way.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
