Bright, tangy, and beautifully pink, this sparkling-free lemonade is the kind of drink that feels like a treat without a single ingredient to second-guess. During pregnancy, what you sip matters just as much as what you eat, and this recipe keeps things clean and wholesome — fresh raspberries, real lemon juice, agave syrup, and mint, full stop. The homemade raspberry syrup is a small but rewarding step: a few minutes on the stove transforms the berries into a jewel-toned, lightly thickened base that tastes nothing like the artificially flavored stuff. Muddling the fresh mint directly in the pitcher releases its oils and gives the whole drink an herby lift that makes it feel genuinely special. Agave stands in for refined sugar and blends smoothly into cold liquid, so there's no graininess and no need to make a separate simple syrup. It's easy to dial the sweetness or tartness up or down at the end, which is a lifesaver when cravings and preferences are shifting by the day. Serve it over ice with a lemon wheel and a sprig of mint and it looks gorgeous on any table — mocktail energy, zero effort.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
