Bright, jewel-toned, and bursting with summer flavor, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes you want to sit on a porch and do absolutely nothing productive. The homemade raspberry syrup — cooked down from fresh berries and agave, then strained until silky smooth — gives it a depth and vibrancy that no bottled version can touch. Because everything here is made from scratch with whole, simple ingredients, there are zero hidden additives or emulsifiers to worry about, which is surprisingly hard to avoid in store-bought flavored drinks and syrups. Muddling fresh mint directly in the pitcher adds a cool, herbal lift that ties the tartness of the lemon juice and the sweetness of the berries together beautifully. Agave keeps it fully plant-based while blending seamlessly into cold liquid, so there's no grainy texture or uneven sweetness. It's endlessly adjustable — a splash more lemon if you like it sharp, a little extra agave if you want it softer — making it easy to dial in exactly what you're craving.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
