Few drinks feel as refreshing and vibrant as a tall glass of homemade raspberry lemonade, and this version takes things up a notch with fresh mint and a gorgeous ruby-red syrup made from real raspberries. The syrup comes together in just a few minutes on the stovetop — raspberries, agave, and water cooked down and strained into something silky and deeply flavored that no store-bought mix can touch. Agave keeps the whole drink naturally sweetened and completely free from any dairy concerns, so there's nothing to second-guess on the ingredient list. Muddling the mint directly in the pitcher releases all that bright, herbal fragrance before the lemon juice and syrup even hit the glass, which means every sip has layers of flavor rather than just sweetness. The balance of tart lemon, fruity raspberry, and cool mint is genuinely stunning, and you can nudge it sweeter or more citrusy right at the end to suit your taste. Serve it over ice with a lemon slice and a sprig of mint and it looks like something from a restaurant patio — no effort required.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
