Few drinks feel as refreshing as a tall glass of raspberry lemonade on a warm day, and this version delivers that bright, fruity satisfaction without relying on any packaged mixes or additives that can sneak in unwanted acids. For anyone navigating a citric acid sensitivity, store-bought lemonades and fruit drinks are almost always off the table — but here, the tartness comes entirely from freshly squeezed lemons, keeping the ingredient list clean and straightforward. A homemade raspberry syrup, cooked down from fresh berries and sweetened with agave, gives the drink its gorgeous deep-red color and a naturally sweet-tart depth that no powder or concentrate can match. Muddled mint leaves add a cooling, aromatic layer that makes every sip feel a little more special. The whole thing comes together in one pitcher, and you can nudge the sweetness or tartness to your exact preference before serving. It's the kind of drink that looks impressive on a table but takes almost no effort to pull off.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
