That gorgeous ruby-red color comes entirely from fresh raspberries cooked down into a silky homemade syrup — no dyes, no shortcuts, just real fruit doing what it does best. Store-bought lemonades and fruit drinks are some of the sneakiest offenders when it comes to synthetic colorings, so making your own from scratch is genuinely the easiest way to sidestep the whole issue. Agave syrup sweetens things naturally while keeping the drink fully plant-based, and fresh lemon juice brings a bright, zippy tartness that no bottled concentrate can match. Muddled mint leaves add an herbal lift that makes this feel like something you'd order at a fancy café rather than whip up at home. The raspberry syrup is strained smooth, so you get that stunning deep-red hue in every glass without any seeds or pulp getting in the way. It's refreshing, it's beautiful, and every single ingredient is exactly what it says it is.

Combine the raspberries, agave syrup, and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep red and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
