Candida diets often limit peas early on because they are high in starch. This recipe works out to only about 2 1/2 tablespoons of peas per serving, which is likely fine. If you prefer to always avoid peas, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

Make the crust: Whisk together the flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the cold vegan butter cubes and work them into the flour using your fingertips or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with some pea-sized pieces remaining. Drizzle in ice water 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring with a fork after each addition, until the dough just comes together when pressed — it should hold without being sticky. Divide the dough into two equal discs, wrap each in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
