This vibrant, herb-packed dip is everything a green goddess should be — bright, creamy, and loaded with fresh flavor from basil, parsley, tarragon, and chives. The trick of processing the tahini and lemon juice first creates an ultra-smooth, pale base before the herbs go in, which is what gives the final hummus that stunning, uniform green color. Streaming in reserved chickpea liquid at the end keeps the texture light and almost whipped, so it's nothing like the dense, heavy versions you might find at the store. Every single ingredient here is plant-based and naturally free from seafood or fish-derived additives — no anchovy-spiked dressings or hidden fish sauce to worry about, which can sometimes sneak into store-bought green goddess products. Surrounded by crisp carrots, cucumber, celery, and sweet red bell pepper, this is the kind of spread that disappears fast at a party or makes a genuinely satisfying afternoon snack. It's simple enough for a weeknight but impressive enough to set out for guests without a second thought.
