Bright, citrusy, and genuinely refreshing, this lemonade gets an unexpected lift from a lime zest–infused agave syrup that takes the whole drink to another level. Steeping the zest directly in the warm syrup pulls out all that fragrant, floral oil before it ever hits the pitcher, so every sip carries a little extra complexity beyond plain lemon. Agave dissolves beautifully without the cloudiness you sometimes get from granulated sugar, keeping the drink clean and vibrant in the glass. The whole thing comes together with fresh-squeezed lemon juice and cold water, so there are zero hidden additives or allergen concerns to stress about — just real, whole ingredients you can see and taste. It's naturally plant-based and completely free of any seed or grain-derived ingredients, making it a safe pour for a wide range of guests. Serve it over a big pile of ice with a few citrus slices and it looks as good as it tastes — effortlessly impressive for a backyard gathering or a quiet afternoon on the porch.

Combine the agave syrup, 1/2 cup water, and lime zest in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the agave is fully dissolved, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup steep for 15 minutes so the lime zest infuses fully.
Pour the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing the zest lightly to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids.
