Tart, citrusy, and impossibly refreshing, this lemonade gets a serious upgrade thanks to a lime zest–infused agave syrup that adds floral depth and a little tropical brightness to every sip. The syrup is made by gently heating agave with water and freshly grated lime zest, then letting it steep so the oils from the zest fully bloom into the liquid — it's a small step that makes a huge difference. Straining it into the pitcher keeps everything silky smooth, while fresh-squeezed lemon juice brings that punchy, sunny tartness you want in a great glass of lemonade. Every single ingredient here is naturally free of grains and grain derivatives, so there's nothing to second-guess on the label or in the kitchen. It's also completely plant-based, sweetened with agave rather than honey, making it a crowd-pleaser for a wide range of guests. Serve it over a big pile of ice with a few citrus slices floating on top and it looks as good as it tastes — the kind of drink that disappears fast at any gathering.

Combine the agave syrup, 1/2 cup water, and lime zest in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the agave is fully dissolved, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup steep for 15 minutes so the lime zest infuses fully.
Pour the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing the zest lightly to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids.
