Chef's tip
Use the same volume. Baking behavior varies by blend: some brown faster or stay softer, while others brown less. Follow the package's baking guidance and start checking a few minutes early.
½ cup water
8 fresh mint leaves, plus more for serving

For the lemonade

¾ cup fresh lemon juice (from about 5–6 lemons)
3 cups cold water or sparkling water

For serving

ice, for serving
lemon slices, for serving (optional)
fresh mint sprigs, for serving (optional)

Instructions

1
Combine the blueberries, sugar, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries burst and the sugar dissolves completely, about 5–7 minutes.
2
Remove the pan from the heat and add the 8 mint leaves. Let the mixture steep for 15 minutes, until the syrup is deeply colored and fragrant.
