Ingredients

12 servings

1 medium ripe pear, peeled and finely grated (about ⅓ cup grated, excess liquid squeezed out)
½ cup sunflower seed butter
SunButter Original Sunflower Seed Butter, 16 Oz SunButter No Sugar Added Sunflower Seed Butter - 16 oz Once Again Unsweetened & Salt Free Organic Sunflower Seed Butter, 16 oz SunButter Organic Sunflower Butter, Gluten Free Dastony Organic Sprouted Sunflower Seed Butter
See all
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
¼ tsp ground ceylon cinnamon
¼ tsp fine sea salt
2 cups rolled oats
2 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)

Instructions

1
Peel and finely grate the pear using the fine holes of a box grater or a food processor. Transfer the grated pear to a clean kitchen towel or several layers of paper towel and squeeze firmly to remove as much liquid as possible — you want the pear nearly dry so the bites hold together.
2
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the sunflower seed butter, honey, vanilla extract, Ceylon cinnamon, and sea salt until smooth and fully combined.
