These little shots pack a serious punch — fiery ginger, earthy turmeric, bright lemon, and just enough honey to take the edge off. The combination is warming and invigorating, and that pinch of black pepper is actually doing real work here, helping your body absorb the turmeric more effectively. Everything gets blended together and strained smooth, so you end up with a clean, vibrant liquid that's easy to knock back in one go. Wellness shots at the store can be surprisingly expensive and often come loaded with preservatives or mystery additives, but this version uses nothing but whole, recognizable ingredients. The optional cayenne adds a slow-building heat that makes the whole thing feel even more alive. Make a batch, stash it in a sealed jar in the fridge, and you've got your morning ritual sorted for the week.

Combine the turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, water, honey, black pepper, and cayenne (if using) in a blender. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until the mixture is as smooth as possible.
Set a fine-mesh strainer over a small pitcher or jar and pour the blended mixture through it, pressing the pulp firmly with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the remaining pulp.
