2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
¼ tsp ground turmeric
2–3 tbsp water
¼ tsp sea salt

For the salad bowl

6 cups mixed greens or romaine lettuce, roughly torn

lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, turmeric, grated ginger, cumin, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until the spices are evenly distributed, then divide and shape into 4 equal patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large (12-inch) skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the patties and cook undisturbed for 5–6 minutes, until the undersides are deep golden brown and release easily from the pan.
