This vibrant chilled drink is everything a warm-weather cooler should be — bright, lightly spiced, and genuinely refreshing. Fresh cucumber juice forms the base, blended smooth and strained until silky, then layered with zippy lemon, earthy turmeric, a whisper of cinnamon, and just enough honey to round it all out. The tiny pinch of black pepper is a smart touch that helps the turmeric do its thing and adds a subtle warmth you'll notice on the finish. Topped with chilled sparkling water, it has a gentle fizz that makes the whole thing feel a little celebratory. Nut-heavy drinks and smoothies can be a minefield at cafés and juice bars, but this one is built entirely from produce, spices, and pantry staples — nothing to second-guess. It comes together in minutes and looks stunning in the glass with a curl of lemon and a round of cucumber floating on top.

Add the chopped cucumber and cold water to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 30–45 seconds.
Set a fine-mesh strainer over a pitcher or large measuring cup. Pour the blended cucumber through the strainer, pressing the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. You should have about 3/4 to 1 cup of cucumber juice.
