Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now to heat.
Heat 1 tbsp of the garlic-infused oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until no pink remains and the beef registers 160°F (71°C) on an instant-read thermometer, about 6–8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
