Fresh strawberries muddled with lime juice and maple syrup create a vibrant, jewel-toned base that tastes like summer in a glass. The whole thing comes together in minutes — no cooking, no complicated techniques, just real fruit and a fine-mesh strainer standing between you and something genuinely delicious. Sweetened with maple syrup instead of processed syrups or flavored mixes, every sip is clean and bright without any of the artificial additives that sneak into store-bought mocktails and cocktail mixers. A pinch of salt might sound unexpected, but it rounds out the tartness and makes the strawberry flavor pop in the best way. Topped with chilled sparkling water poured slowly down the side of the glass, you get a gorgeous fizz that stays lively all the way to the bottom. Dress it up with a lime wheel and a sprig of fresh mint and it looks like something you'd pay twelve dollars for at a rooftop bar.

Place the strawberries, lime juice, maple syrup, and salt in the bottom of a large measuring cup or pitcher. Muddle firmly with a cocktail muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon until the strawberries are fully broken down and deeply red, about 30 seconds.
Set a fine-mesh strainer over a bowl or large measuring cup and pour the muddled mixture through it, pressing on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the solids.
