This drink is the definition of summer in a glass β bright, fruity, and just tart enough to keep you reaching for another sip. Fresh strawberries are crushed and strained to create a gorgeous deep-pink infusion that gives the whole pitcher its jewel-toned color and natural sweetness. Maple syrup steps in as the sweetener, which means no refined sugar and a subtle warmth that plays beautifully against the citrusy punch of fresh lime juice. Steeped black tea forms the backbone, giving it just enough depth so it doesn't taste like flavored water. The whole thing comes together with pantry staples and a little patience while it chills, making it an easy crowd-pleaser for backyard hangs or lazy afternoons. Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint if you want it to look as good as it tastes β because it already tastes pretty spectacular.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags, then stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the strawberries and 1 cup cold water in the saucepan (or a separate bowl). Use a fork or the back of a spoon to crush the strawberries until they release their juice and the water turns deep pink, about 1 minute.
