Bright, fruity, and refreshingly tart, this strawberry lime iced tea is the kind of drink that makes a hot afternoon feel instantly more manageable. Fresh strawberries are hand-crushed to release their natural juice, giving the tea a gorgeous deep-pink color and real fruit flavor that no powder or syrup can replicate. Maple syrup sweetens the black tea base with a subtle warmth that plays beautifully against the sharp hit of fresh lime juice. The whole thing comes together in one pitcher with simple, wholesome ingredients β no store-bought mixes, no mystery additives, and absolutely no tree nuts to worry about. It's naturally free of any nut-based ingredients from start to finish, so you can serve it confidently at gatherings without checking a single label. Garnish with lime slices and a sprig of mint if you want to make it look as good as it tastes.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags, then stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the strawberries and 1 cup cold water in the saucepan (or a separate bowl). Use a fork or the back of a spoon to crush the strawberries until they release their juice and the water turns deep pink, about 1 minute.
