Bright, fruity, and refreshingly tart, this strawberry lime iced tea is the kind of drink that makes a hot afternoon feel like a genuine occasion. Fresh strawberries are crushed and strained to create a gorgeous deep-pink infusion that blends seamlessly with bold black tea and a squeeze of real lime juice. Maple syrup steps in as the sweetener, keeping everything natural and free from any of the spiced syrups or flavored mixes that can sneak unwanted ingredients into your glass. Many store-bought iced teas and fruit drinks hide surprising additives, so making your own from scratch means you know exactly what's in every sip. The process is straightforward β steep, crush, strain, chill β and the result looks stunning served over ice with a few lime slices on the rim. It's the kind of recipe you'll want to keep on rotation all summer long.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags, then stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the strawberries and 1 cup cold water in the saucepan (or a separate bowl). Use a fork or the back of a spoon to crush the strawberries until they release their juice and the water turns deep pink, about 1 minute.
