This refreshing drink is everything a summer sip should be — bright, fruity, and just tart enough to keep you reaching for another glass. Fresh strawberries are crushed and strained to create a gorgeous deep-pink infusion, while lime juice adds a zingy citrus lift that balances the natural sweetness of maple syrup beautifully. The whole thing comes together with nothing but real, whole ingredients — no additives, no stabilizers, no emulsifiers hiding in a flavored syrup or store-bought mix. That matters more than you might think, because plenty of bottled teas and fruit drinks sneak in lecithin or other emulsifying agents to keep things shelf-stable. Here, the tea base is brewed from scratch, the fruit flavor comes straight from actual strawberries, and maple syrup does the sweetening with zero fuss. Poured over ice with a slice of lime and a sprig of fresh mint, it looks like something you'd order at a fancy café — but it's completely homemade and totally in your control.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags, then stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the strawberries and 1 cup cold water in the saucepan (or a separate bowl). Use a fork or the back of a spoon to crush the strawberries until they release their juice and the water turns deep pink, about 1 minute.
