This is the kind of drink that makes a hot afternoon feel like a whole occasion. Fresh strawberries get hand-crushed and strained to create a naturally vibrant, deep-pink infusion that blends beautifully with bold black tea and a hit of bright lime juice. Maple syrup sweetens everything just enough without overpowering the fruit, and the result is a refreshing, layered iced tea that tastes far more special than the effort involved. Many store-bought flavored teas and drink mixes sneak in coconut-derived ingredients or natural flavors that can be hard to trace, so making this from scratch puts you fully in control of every single component. The whole thing comes together with pantry staples and fresh produce β no exotic ingredients, no guesswork. Poured over ice and finished with a lime slice and a sprig of mint, it's genuinely gorgeous in a glass and perfect for entertaining or just treating yourself on a weekday.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags, then stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the strawberries and 1 cup cold water in the saucepan (or a separate bowl). Use a fork or the back of a spoon to crush the strawberries until they release their juice and the water turns deep pink, about 1 minute.
