Bright, fruity, and refreshingly tart, this strawberry lime iced tea is the kind of drink that makes a hot afternoon feel like a celebration. Fresh strawberries are hand-crushed to release their deep pink juice, then strained into a pitcher alongside bold black tea and a squeeze of real lime β no artificial flavors, no syrups from a bottle. Maple syrup brings just the right touch of natural sweetness without overpowering the fruit. Every single ingredient here is completely plant-based, so there's zero concern about any animal-derived additions sneaking in. The result is a gorgeous, jewel-toned pitcher drink that looks far more impressive than the effort it actually takes. Serve it over a big pile of ice with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wheel, and it's instantly the star of any table.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags, then stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the strawberries and 1 cup cold water in the saucepan (or a separate bowl). Use a fork or the back of a spoon to crush the strawberries until they release their juice and the water turns deep pink, about 1 minute.
