This refreshing drink is everything a summer beverage should be — bright, fruity, and just tart enough to keep you coming back for another sip. Fresh strawberries are crushed and strained to create a gorgeous deep-pink infusion, while lime juice adds a zingy citrus lift that balances the natural sweetness of maple syrup beautifully. The whole thing comes together without a single shake of the salt shaker, making it a genuinely clean option for anyone keeping a close eye on sodium intake. Bottled teas and flavored drinks can be surprisingly sneaky with added sodium, so brewing your own is a smart and satisfying workaround. Black tea gives it a proper backbone so it never tastes watery or flat, even poured over a full glass of ice. Garnished with lime slices and fresh mint, it looks like something you'd order at a nice café — but it's made entirely at home with simple, wholesome ingredients.

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags, then stir in the maple syrup until dissolved. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
While the tea cools, combine the strawberries and 1 cup cold water in the saucepan (or a separate bowl). Use a fork or the back of a spoon to crush the strawberries until they release their juice and the water turns deep pink, about 1 minute.
