Apple cider keeps a little fine pulp, but it is naturally very low in fiber and the amount per serving is modest, so it is likely low residue. If you prefer to always avoid apple cider, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

Low residue diets limit whole spices and fibrous roots. The ginger here is only steeped for flavor and strained out, so it is likely Low Residue. If you prefer to always avoid fresh ginger, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

Combine the apple cider, Ceylon cinnamon sticks, ginger slices, turmeric, and cloves in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring once or twice, until steam rises steadily and small bubbles appear around the edges, about 8–10 minutes.
