This vibrant, jewel-toned spritzer is the kind of drink that makes any occasion feel a little more special — and it comes together with nothing but whole, real ingredients. A quick homemade raspberry syrup made from fresh berries and maple syrup gives it a naturally sweet, deeply fruity base that no store-bought mixer can match. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice adds a bright, tart punch that balances the sweetness perfectly, while chilled sparkling water brings the fizz without any additives or artificial flavors to worry about. Refined sugar is one of the trickier things to navigate in drinks, but maple syrup steps in here as a clean, unprocessed swap that keeps everything on track. The result is a gorgeous, ruby-red spritzer that looks like it came from a fancy cocktail bar but is completely wholesome. Serve it over ice with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint, and it's honestly hard to believe something this refreshing is also this clean.

Combine the maple syrup and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the maple syrup dissolves, about 1 minute. Add the raspberries and cook, pressing them gently with the back of a spoon, until the berries have broken down and the syrup is deep red, about 3–4 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a small bowl or measuring cup, pressing the solids firmly with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the raspberry syrup cool to room temperature, about 10 minutes.
