This vibrant, blush-colored spritzer is the kind of drink that makes any occasion feel a little more special, whether you're hosting a backyard gathering or just treating yourself on a slow afternoon. Fresh raspberries are cooked down with maple syrup and water into a gorgeous, jewel-toned syrup that delivers natural sweetness without a single grain of added salt — exactly what you want when you're keeping a close eye on sodium. Squeezed lemon juice brings a bright, zippy tartness that balances the berry richness beautifully, and chilled sparkling water gives it that satisfying effervescence. The whole thing comes together in a pitcher, making it effortless to serve a crowd. A sprig of fresh mint and a lemon wheel on the rim take it from casual to genuinely impressive with almost no extra effort. It's proof that a truly refreshing, crowd-pleasing drink doesn't need anything artificial or processed to taste incredible.

Combine the maple syrup and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the maple syrup dissolves, about 1 minute. Add the raspberries and cook, pressing them gently with the back of a spoon, until the berries have broken down and the syrup is deep red, about 3–4 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a small bowl or measuring cup, pressing the solids firmly with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the raspberry syrup cool to room temperature, about 10 minutes.
