Snow peas are pods and are low in starch, so they are usually fine on a candida diet even though beans and peas are limited early on. This recipe works out to about 1 cup of snow peas per serving, which is likely fine. If you prefer to always avoid snow peas, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

Coconut aminos is a common stand-in for soy sauce on a candida diet. It does carry a little sugar from coconut sap, but this recipe uses only about 2 1/4 teaspoons per serving, which is likely fine.

In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, arrowroot starch, ground ginger, and turmeric until the starch is fully dissolved and no lumps remain. Set aside.
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with the salt.
