Comfort food doesn't get much more satisfying than a bubbling skillet of savory lamb filling topped with a cloud of creamy mashed cauliflower. The filling is built on ground lamb, diced carrots, celery, onion, and finely chopped mushrooms, all brought together with bone broth, coconut aminos, and fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary for a deeply savory sauce. Arrowroot starch thickens everything beautifully without any grain-based flour, and a touch of turmeric and ginger gives the filling a subtle warmth that makes it feel anything but ordinary. The cauliflower mash topping gets whipped smooth with coconut oil until it's genuinely creamy ā it bakes up golden at the peaks while the filling bubbles underneath, which is exactly what you want. Every single ingredient in this dish is naturally free from tree nuts, so there's no label-reading anxiety or substitution gymnastics required. It's a hearty, crowd-pleasing dinner that works just as well for a weeknight as it does for a cozy weekend gathering.
