Comfort food doesn't get much more satisfying than a bubbling skillet of savory lamb filling topped with a cloud of creamy mashed cauliflower. The filling is built on ground lamb, sweet carrots, celery, onion, and finely chopped mushrooms, all brought together with bone broth, coconut aminos, and a splash of apple cider vinegar for a rich, deeply savory sauce. Fresh thyme, rosemary, turmeric, and ginger give every bite a warmth that feels both familiar and a little unexpected. Arrowroot starch thickens the sauce cleanly without any grain-based additives, and coconut oil stands in throughout so there's no need to reach for anything processed or synthetic. The cauliflower mash on top gets whipped until genuinely smooth and creamy ā it seals in the filling as it bakes and turns golden at the peaks in the oven. For anyone navigating ingredient sensitivities around preservatives and synthetic compounds, cooking from scratch with whole, recognizable ingredients like these is the most reliable path forward. Finish with a scatter of fresh parsley and let it rest just long enough to serve up clean, hearty portions straight from the skillet.
