Comfort food doesn't get much more satisfying than a bubbling skillet of savory lamb filling topped with a cloud of creamy mashed cauliflower. The real win here is that every single ingredient is clean and straightforward — ground lamb, fresh vegetables, bone broth, and a handful of warming spices — so there's no need to scrutinize labels for hidden preservatives or cured-meat additives that so often sneak into packaged convenience versions of this dish. Coconut aminos stand in for soy sauce and bring a gentle umami depth without any of the questionable additives, while arrowroot starch thickens the sauce naturally. Fresh thyme, rosemary, turmeric, and ginger do the heavy lifting on flavor, making the filling taste like it simmered all afternoon even though it comes together in a single oven-safe skillet. The cauliflower mash is whipped smooth with coconut oil until it's genuinely creamy and rich — nobody at the table will miss the potatoes. Once it comes out of the oven with golden peaks and filling bubbling at the edges, it looks and smells like pure Sunday dinner magic. Scatter some fresh parsley on top and you've got a showstopper that's as wholesome as it is deeply delicious.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and cook until completely tender and easily pierced with a fork, about 12–15 minutes. Drain thoroughly and return to the pot.
Add 2 tbsp of the coconut oil and 1/2 tsp salt to the drained cauliflower. Mash with a potato masher or beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy, with no large lumps remaining. Taste and adjust salt. Set aside.
