Fresh raspberries and real lemon juice are the stars here, and together they create something that tastes far more sophisticated than anything you'd pour from a bottle. The homemade raspberry syrup is the secret weapon — simmered down with maple syrup until it's deep red, glossy, and intensely fruity, then strained smooth before it ever hits the glass. Sparkling water brings the fizz, and a little fresh mint on top makes it feel genuinely special. Every single ingredient in this drink is naturally free from tree nuts, so there's no label-scanning or substitution stress involved whatsoever. It's the kind of drink that looks like it came from a fancy brunch spot but comes together in your own kitchen with minimal effort. Serve it over ice in tall glasses and it's instantly the prettiest thing on the table.

Combine the raspberries, water, and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the liquid is deep red and slightly thickened, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a heatproof bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes, or speed it up by setting the bowl over an ice bath.
