Bright, bubbly, and bursting with real fruit flavor, this mocktail is exactly the kind of refreshing drink that feels special without a drop of alcohol. During pregnancy, it can be frustrating to feel left out at gatherings or stuck sipping plain water while everyone else has something festive — this solves that problem beautifully. The homemade raspberry syrup is the real star here: fresh berries, water, and a touch of maple syrup are simmered down into a gorgeous, deep-red concentrate that tastes nothing like the artificial stuff. Squeezed from real lemons, the citrus element adds a bright tartness that balances the sweetness perfectly. Everything gets topped with chilled sparkling water for that satisfying fizz, and a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon slice make it look genuinely impressive in the glass. It's the kind of drink you'll want to make for every brunch, baby shower, or slow weekend morning when you just want something that feels a little celebratory.

Combine the raspberries, water, and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the berries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the raspberries have completely broken down and the liquid is deep red and slightly thickened, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a heatproof bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes, or speed it up by setting the bowl over an ice bath.
