Tart, fruity, and beautifully pink, this homemade raspberry lemonade is exactly the kind of refreshing drink that hits differently when you're craving something cold and bright. Fresh raspberries are simmered down into a gorgeous deep-red syrup sweetened with maple syrup — no refined sugar, no artificial colors, just real ingredients you can feel good about. The syrup gets strained smooth before being stirred together with freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water, so every sip is clean and vibrant. During pregnancy, it's easy to miss the fizzy, flavorful drinks you might have reached for before, and this one genuinely fills that gap without any caffeine or questionable additives. You can dial the sweetness and tartness up or down right in the pitcher, which makes it easy to suit whatever your taste buds are demanding today. Poured over ice with a sprig of fresh mint, it looks stunning enough to serve at a baby shower but is simple enough to make on a random Tuesday afternoon.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep pink-red, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
