Bright, tangy, and flushed with the most gorgeous deep pink-red color, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes any afternoon feel like an occasion. The base starts with a quick homemade raspberry syrup — fresh berries simmered down with maple syrup and water until they collapse into something rich and intensely fruity. Straining out the solids gives you a silky, jewel-toned syrup that blends beautifully with freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water. Every single ingredient here is straightforward and naturally free of any spice-cabinet surprises, so there's zero guesswork about what's actually in your glass. You can easily dial the sweetness or tartness to your liking before serving, which makes it genuinely foolproof. Poured over ice and finished with a lemon slice or a sprig of fresh mint, it looks like something from a fancy café — but it comes together in your own kitchen with minimal effort.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep pink-red, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
