Bright, tangy, and flushed with the color of fresh summer berries, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes any afternoon feel like a celebration. The base starts with a quick homemade raspberry syrup — just raspberries, maple syrup, and water simmered down until deeply fragrant and jewel-toned — then strained smooth before being stirred into freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water. Every single ingredient here is naturally free of legumes, so there's no label-reading required and no hidden surprises lurking in a store-bought bottle. The maple syrup adds a gentle, rounded sweetness that plays beautifully against the tartness of real lemon juice, and the recipe even encourages you to taste and adjust the balance to your liking. Served over ice with a few lemon slices and fresh mint, it looks almost too pretty to drink — almost. This is the kind of from-scratch lemonade that makes you wonder why you ever reached for a powder packet in the first place.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep pink-red, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
