Bright, tangy, and flushed with the deep pink-red color of fresh raspberries, this homemade lemonade is the kind of drink that makes any afternoon feel like a celebration. A quick stovetop raspberry syrup — made with just berries, maple syrup, and water — gets strained until silky smooth before being stirred together with freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water. The result is a pitcher drink that's genuinely refreshing, with a natural sweetness that doesn't taste cloying or artificial. Because everything here is built from whole, simple ingredients, there's no label-reading required and no mystery additives to worry about. You can easily dial the balance to your taste, adding a little more water to mellow it out or an extra squeeze of lemon to sharpen the citrus edge. Poured over ice and finished with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint, it looks as good as it tastes — effortlessly impressive for a backyard gathering or a quiet afternoon on the porch.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep pink-red, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
