Bright, tangy, and deeply fruity, this homemade raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes you wonder why you ever reached for a bottle at the store. The flavor comes entirely from real ingredients — fresh raspberries, just-squeezed lemon juice, and maple syrup — so there's nothing synthetic hiding in your glass. A quick stovetop raspberry syrup is the secret here: simmering the berries with maple syrup and water coaxes out a gorgeous deep pink-red color and an intensely fruity sweetness that no artificial shortcut can replicate. Once strained and stirred together with cold water and fresh lemon juice, the result is perfectly balanced and completely customizable — a little more water if you want it lighter, an extra squeeze of lemon if you like it tart. Garnished with lemon slices and fresh mint, it's as beautiful as it is refreshing. This is the pitcher drink you'll want on the table all summer long.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep pink-red, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
