Bright, tangy, and flushed with the most gorgeous deep pink color, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes any afternoon feel like a special occasion. The secret is a quick homemade raspberry syrup — fresh berries simmered down with maple syrup until they collapse into a rich, jewel-toned concentrate that no store-bought mix can touch. Straining out the solids gives you a silky-smooth syrup that blends seamlessly with freshly squeezed lemon juice for a balance of sweet and tart that's completely dialed in to your taste. Because every ingredient here is whole and straightforward, there's zero guesswork about what's actually in your glass — no hidden additives or shared-facility concerns to stress over. A handful of ice, a few lemon slices, and a sprig of fresh mint turn it into something you'd happily serve at a backyard gathering or a lazy weekend brunch. You can also tweak the sweetness and tartness right in the pitcher before pouring, so it comes out exactly the way you like it every single time.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is a deep pink-red, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
