Tart raspberries, bright lemon juice, and a touch of maple syrup come together in a sparkling drink that tastes like summer in a glass. The homemade raspberry syrup is the real star here — simmered until the berries break down completely, then strained smooth for a jewel-toned base that's as beautiful as it is delicious. Because the sweetness comes entirely from maple syrup rather than processed corn-based sweeteners, you know exactly what's going into every sip. So many store-bought lemonades and flavored sodas sneak in high fructose corn syrup, making it genuinely hard to find a refreshing option that doesn't compromise your goals. This one sidesteps all of that with nothing but whole fruit, fresh-squeezed citrus, and sparkling water. Stir it together in a pitcher, add ice, and finish with a sprig of mint and a lemon slice for a drink that looks like it came from a fancy café. It's the kind of recipe you'll want to keep on rotation all season long.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is slightly thickened, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes.
